Miss Laura’s Brothel Museum was once a premier Victorian brothel, built in 1898 and run by Laura Ziegler and later Bertha Gale. Known for its elegance and high standards, it was a popular establishment in Fort Smith. After serving various roles over the years, it was restored in the 1980s and turned into a restaurant called Miss Laura’s Social Club.
Today, it has been transformed into a museum that preserves and showcases the vibrant history of Fort Smith and the captivating lives of the women who worked there.
